Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Event records: Titles, venues, dates, artists, notes, keywords, and ratings you enter
- Photos: Ticket stubs, programmes, and venue photos you attach to events
- Preferences: App settings such as language, theme, and currency
All of this information is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to use optional features.
Information Processed Temporarily
AI Ticket Scanning: When you use the AI-powered ticket scanning feature, your ticket photo is:
- Transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our relay server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers or Alibaba Cloud Functions)
- Forwarded to the AI service (Alibaba Cloud Qwen) for text extraction
- Immediately discarded after processing — we do not store your images
The AI service returns only structured text data (event name, venue, date, etc.), which is saved locally on your device.

Data Storage
Local Storage
All your event records, photos, and notes are stored in:
- Core Data (SQLite): On-device database in your app's private container
- Application Support folder: Compressed photos with EXIF metadata removed
This data is protected by iOS security and is only accessible to the Ticketry app.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync in your device settings:
- Your event data may be synchronized across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit
- This data is encrypted and managed according to [Apple's Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/privacy/)
- You can disable this at any time in iOS Settings
